ABOUT
이예슬은 음식, 문화, 사람과 같은 일상생활에서 흔히 볼 수 있는 대상들의 상호관계를 통해 기독교 신앙에 대한 이해를 작품에 집중적으로 표현하고자 한다.10년 이상 접해온 한국과 미국의 문화 경험 역시 작품의 구성에 반영된다. 현재 오리건주 포트랜드 지역에 살고있고, 신학과 석사과정을 밟으며, 순수예술과 신학의 관계의 표현을 위한 연구와 예술작업에 힘쓰고 있다.
Yeseul focuses on conveying Christian faith in her works through capturing interactions between subjects that are found in everyday life such as food, culture, and people. More than 10years of exposure to both the U.S. and Korean culture is also reflected in the composition of her work. Currently, she resides in the Portland, Oregon area while obtaining a master's degree in Divinity. Her work depicts her desire to define and express the interactive relationship between fine arts and theology.
