Tasting Grace is a series of paintings that examine different spiritual manifestations derived from the influence of belief. Each painting depicts celebration and understanding of belief figuratively. In the series, shape of the food and the expression of the figure seeks to evoke equivalent emotions and spiritual experiences. Tasting Grace hopes to express the mystical and ironic realm of Christianity while it is acknowledging misperception of holiness, astonishment, joy and peace that comes from endeavoring to understand God’s love.
